Reignhead and Friends
(R.A.F Established 1996)

A warm welcome to you all!

Here, you will find information about who we are, our activities, fund raising events and how you can get involved.

Reignhead and Friends is the name given to a group of parents who help to support Reignhead School. It is a small but enthusiastic group whose main aims are to raise money for the school to help improve the school environment, buy equipment and resources and to raise money for nominated charities. With regular cuts to government funding, schools in general are becoming increasingly dependent on parental support for help to pay for equipment and facilities. The aim of the R.A.F. is not just about fundraising; it is also about developing relationships and a sense of community. Plus, it a great way of getting to know other parents and gives the children a real sense of belonging.

The group has an open membership and we welcome any support that can be offered no matter how small.

Listed below are some of the many events that the group have organised and ways in which it has improved the school and added so much value to the children’s education and enjoyment.
  • Creation and funding of the Millennium Garden
  • Improved play equipment requested by the School Council
  • Grand raffles
  • Seasonal fayres
  • Refreshments for school events
  • Children’s disco
  • Baking
  • Spring bulb planting around the school and in the village
  • Beighton Gala stalls and games
